REM Train Line to Montreal's North Shore to Begin on November 17
The long-awaited Réseau express métropolitain (REM) train line extension to Montreal’s North Shore is scheduled to begin on November 17, adding 14 new stations to the existing 5 stations already in service between Brossard and downtown.
This new stretch of the REM will have three connections with the Montreal metro, and several bus routes are set to be revised to link to it as well.
- Service to Deux-Montagnes will begin on November 17
- Service to l’Anse-à-l’Orme in the West Island is expected to begin in the spring
- An airport station remains in the works for 2027
