OpenAI Challenges Google with ChatGPT-Powered Browser
OpenAI has launched Atlas, a new AI-powered browser that integrates ChatGPT into everyday web use, posing a challenge to Google.
Atlas allows users to summarize pages, compare products, and automate online tasks without leaving their current window, expanding OpenAI's reach beyond its chatbot app.
With Atlas, ChatGPT can come with you anywhere across the web – helping you in the window right where you are.
In a live demo, OpenAI showcased Atlas' agent mode, which enables ChatGPT to automatically complete multi-step actions, such as conducting research or booking appointments, directly within the browser.
